At T&K people development is one of our company values. We have a dedicated Leadership Conference Center located in Georgetown, KY.

At the T&K Leadership Conference Center and locations throughout our Regions we host various training sessions and company meetings:

  • Managers In Training (MIT) Week: This is a 5 day culture and management development session for Managers who are newly hired at T&K. They get face to face time with our CEO and other senior leaders, legal department executives, human resources and various other departments to learn about our culture, company values and operating processes.
  • Human Resources Seminars: These training sessions are taught to all of our Managers and focus on how to build a positive working culture and treat people fairly.
  • Food Cost Management: We have a series of classes for all Managers to learn everything from Kitchen Basics to Recipe Adherence. Everything our Managers need to know to run a great kitchen and consistent food cost each month.
  • Bar Cost Management: Our bar class series teaches Managers everything from bar operational basics, how to make great drinks and also how to build bar sales.
  • Guest Service: Since Guest Service is a key business measure for T&K we teach all of our Managers what they need to know about guest service; how to analyze reports, coach their service staff and develop action plans to improve their guest service scores.
  • Values Based Leadership: This session is taught by our company founder and CEO on a regular basis throughout each year. Everyone gets the opportunity to learn more about their values and how staying true to them will help make you a better manager and leader at T&K.  
  • Quarterly Leadership Training (QLT): These sessions happen each period within our Regions and Districts. They are lead and facilitated by the Operations leaders and cover topics such as; business updates, rollouts of promotional campaigns and leadership training and development.
  • Annual General Manager Conferences: Each year our CEO likes to get all the General Managers together to give an update on what's happening in the company and the get feedback from the people who run our business units.
