The scenic wonders and the dry, warm climate naturally bring Arizona a strong tourist industry. Many visitors return upon their retirement to enjoy the state's benefits year round. Phoenix is a Bike-Friendly City. White Tank, McDowell Mountian, South Mountain, San Tan Mountain, Superstition Mountain, Piestewa Peak and Estrella Mountain Parks offer miles of shared-use trails for cycling, as well as designated competitive track areas. These include hiking, camping, snowmobiling, skiing, boating and swimming. The reservoirs at Lake Mead, Lake Mojave and Lake Powell make boating, water skiing and fishing both easily accessible and very enjoyable. Rafting down the Colorado River and golfing on one of more than 300 golf courses round a long list of possible recreation.
